Covid-19 Shop policies
We are excited to get back to work, however the safety of our clients and our families remains our top priority, and with this in mind we will be enforcing the following new guidelines for the foreseeable future as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to play out across the world.
While we understand that not everyone agrees with some measures, we ask that clients also understand that one of our own is in the highest risk category for serious and deadly complications from the virus ( Type 1 Diabetes ); so we are taking any precautions we can to limit risk.
If you find that you’re unable to comply with any of the following for any reason during your visit, we encourage you to check back as the situation develops and we get new information.
Personal Protective Equipment
On arrival for their appointment clients will be asked to sanitize their hands with provided sanitizer. All clients will be required to wear a face mask for the duration of their appointment and anytime they are inside the shop. Clients are expected to bring their own masks, but if you do not have one please reach out to us ahead of time and we will ensure you have one at the time of your appointment.
Artists will wear face masks for the duration of the appointment, starting at the pre-appointment cleaning of common areas; or while customers or other artists are in the shop.
Increase in cleaning protocols
Prior to each customer appointment or scheduled consultation, in addition to the normal blood borne protocols, common areas and doorknobs will be wiped down. This is also when our artists will equip their own masks for the duration of the visit to prevent re-contamination.
Social Distancing and shop capacity
We have made some changes to the layout to help facilitate the new cleaning protocols and social distancing ( where possible ) within the shop; which includes the temporary removal of our guest waiting areas. Due to this we ask that you do not bring guests with you to your appointment, only 1 artist and 1 client will be allowed in the tattoo areas.
If you’re not feeling well, have a fever, or even think you might’ve been in contact with someone who has the virus, we ask that you reschedule your appointment at least 14 days out. Appointments rescheduled due to potential COVID issues will not be charged. If you arrive at the shop and appear to be sick ( coughing, fever, etc ) we will ask you to reschedule your appointment for a later time.
Rescheduling appointments
Thank you!
This is an unprecedented and trying time for all of us, but we believe in pulling together to protect and care for each other is the best way to overcome the challenges this situation has put on all of us. Thank you for your continued support, and for enduring any inconvenience these new policies may present for the immediate future.
